Dr. Kevin Castleberry, DDS

A little about Kevin…

Dr. Castleberry was born and raised around Juneau, WI. He studied at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

He then went on to study at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Castleberry received specialized training from Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia in Intravenous Sedation to help bring peace of mind to patient’s anxiety when visiting the dentist.

During his many years of schooling he was involved in 3+ years of research with topics varying from molecular genetics, breast cancer, public health and type I diabetes.

After dental school, Dr. Castleberry commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army where he served with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY. There he practiced dentistry on the greatest soldiers in the world and it was one of the greatest experiences of his life.

After the Army, Dr. Castleberry succeeded his long-time friend Dr. Eric Ratering in the town he grew to love, Green Lake! He and his family are happy to call Green Lake home and look forward to providing top notch dental care for many years to come.

Dr. Castleberry married his wife Amanda in 2013 and they welcomed their first daughter Johnnie in 2016, son Elijah in 2019, son Nolan in 2020 and son Parker in 2022. They also have an enormous Great Dane named Barley who loves to steal the spotlight.

Dr. Castleberry loves spending time with his family and enjoying his various hobbies of hunting, woodworking, genealogy, BBQ and smoking food but his biggest passion is brewing beer. He started home brewing in 2008 and enjoys serving to friends and family as well as entering into national competitions.

Today, Dr. Castleberry enjoys helping patients in Green Lake, Ripon, Berlin, Princeton, Markesan, and other areas around Green Lake County.

Becky Smith | Patient Care Coordinator

Becky grew up in Theresa, WI and graduated from Lomira High School. She now resides in rural Brandon with her husband and her dog named Pretzel. Becky brings 20+ years of customer service to the position and especially enjoys meeting and talking to people. Becky’s hobbies include traveling & spending time outdoors on nice Wisconsin days.

Jackie Page | Registered Dental Hygienist

Jackie was born and raised around the Racine/Franksville, WI area but finished High School in Berlin, WI. She enjoys the outdoors and taking frequent trips to the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Karlee Ellis | Dental Assistant

Karlee was born and raised around Omro, WI. She graduated from Omro High School and went on to become a registered Dental Assistant from Fox Valley Tech. She enjoys traveling, attending music concerts, playing summer league volleyball and golf. She also enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible for hunting, sports or fishing.

Tanya Day | Treatment Care Coordinator

Tanya was born and raised around Berlin, WI. She graduated for Berlin High School and has been in the area every since. She’s worked in many facets of dentistry including assisting, insurance, front desk, etc. She has gone back to her roots and has been an amazing addition as a dental assistant. Tanya enjoys family time and hanging out with friends. She loves to travel with friends and attend any social gathering especially during the summer.

Carissa Tesch | Dental Hygienist

Carissa was raised in Ripon, WI and now lives on a small farmette in Pickett. She graduated from FVTC with a technical diploma in Dental Assisting in May of 2007 and became a team member of Green Lake Dental in February of 2008. She enjoys working with people and helping them to improve their oral and overall health which lead her to pursuing and graduating from FVTC with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 2016. Carissa is married and has two children, a boy and a girl along with several furry children including a horse, dogs, cats and a goat. She enjoys living in the country and spending time in the veggie garden or sipping coffee on her front porch. She and her husband also enjoy adventurous vacations, specifically out west.

Saira Vences | Dental Assistant

Saira was born in California but raised most of her life in a town outside Mexico City, Mexico. She moved back to the United States and married her husband Javier. They have two daughters named Camilla and Mia together. She enjoys spending time with her family and visiting her family in Mexico whenever possible.

Sara Sobieski | Office Manager

Sara was born and raised in Berlin, WI. She is the youngest of five children. Her parents and siblings all live within 5 miles of one another. They have also blessed their parents with 14 amazing grandchildren. Personally, Sara has 4 children: Richard, Bradley, and twin daughters Kara and Karissa. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks in the country, hunting or simply spending time with her friends and family.

Sara joined the Green Lake Dental family as our Office Manager in 2015 and she’s enjoying every minute of it. She is happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visit a positive one. Sara loves the energy of the Green Lake Dental team and her primary goal is to help you, the patient!

Claire Tadman | Dental Hygienist

Claire is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who joined the Green Lake Dental family in January of 2011.

She was born into her first dental family in Omaha, Nebraska, the fourth of eight children born to a dentist and a dental hygienist. They eventually moved to Prairie du Sac, WI and eventually settled in Brandon where she spent the majority of her childhood.

Claire graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 from Marquette University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Health Sciences.

Claire incorporates the various facets of dental hygiene to help improve and maintain good oral health in people of all ages. She strives to educate individuals to appreciate and attain excellent oral health, which in turn helps achieve optimal overall health. Her goal is to gain the trust of her patients and provide the best dental education and care available. She believes in treating every patient as she would like to be treated. She enjoys the family feel of a small private practice where providing exceptional care is the priority.

Claire and her husband Jeff moved to rural Green Lake in 2002 where they are passionate about everything outdoors including gardening, biking, camping, and boating on beautiful Green Lake. They have three grown children and are blessed with three grandchildren.
